  6. Jan 11,  · The arrangements are darker than the polished version of revamps found on All Four One. While All Four One allowed Top 40 listeners to check into the Motels, Apocalypso is the album that confirms the extraordinary talent that each band member possessed at that time, and stands as a true testament to the greatness a band can achieve artistically.
  7. May 28,  · I've always had the vinyl of the latter two but I had never heard the first two before and they are fantastic! Man I love discovering and re-discovering old music! Any other fans here? I'd love to pick up the 5th album "Shock" too but that one is going for some outrageous $$$. The first two have an edgier vibe to them. Almost punk on a few songs.
  8. Apocalypso was the first album I was going to do what I think Capitol had wanted me to do for awhile, be a sexy girl on the cover. Taking a page from the great Roxy Music album art, I had a complete vision of what it should be—me in a tight-bodiced green dress, hair pulled back in a ponytail, dancing in flames, with lots of cleavage!/5(19).
